Pick-up repair
While traveling to Oregon, on Saturday, Nov.19, 2011, the vacuum pump failed, breaking the fan belt on our 1997 Ford F-250 at Dunnigan, CA. We made it into the Pilot truck stop, but we were stuck until Monday. On Monday morning we called Corning Ford to see if they could help us. The parts department had the parts we needed, and Brad in the service department said he was saving a place for us and they would get right on it as soon as we could get there. We called a tow truck and, leaving our 5th wheel trailer at the truck stop, we arrived at Corning Ford just before 11:00 AM. True to his word, Brad was ready and waiting. Our truck was repaired and ready to go with new vacuum pump and fan belt before 2:00 PM. I have never enjoyed such good service. The people were great. If I ever break something again, I hope it is near Corning Ford.

I needed to trade in my truck for a commuter vehicle. By chance we stopped at Corning Ford before heading to Redding to try our luck. Sacramento was our next stop if we had no luck there. We met Karl Holland when we arrived and explained my situation to him. He got his guys to take a look at my truck while he showed us a Ford Focus. It seemed like the perfect vehicle we were looking for. We worked out a great deal on the truck then he took the time to show us some of the Focus vehicles he had on the lot. We came away with a great used vehicle in the price range I needed! It was the fastest and easiest car buying experience I have ever had. We will definately be back for our next vehicle and you can bet we are going to be dealing with Karl! Thank you so much for all your help and patience!Also thank you Mike for making the paperwork fly by and also your sense of humor! You both are a great asset to Corning Ford! We will be seeing you both in the future!

2011 Escape
Another great experience at Corning Ford. This is my third vehicle purchase from Corning Ford. The great customer service from sales to service is what keeps me coming back, from the purchase of the vehicle to all of the service I may need during the lifetime of the vehicle. Amazing Dodge service

a great experience
We traveled from Redding and was able purchase the new Ford Taurus. Its been a great vehicle and Bobby in Sales did a great job. We also got a good deal for our trade. Even though there is a Ford dealership in Redding we will always come to Corning Ford for our next car and to get our car serviced. I have recommended Bobby and Corning Ford to friends and family!

Outstanding Diesel Service
I was traveling north to Oregon on 7/16/10. Late that evening I noticed smoke from my 2005 F350. I'm towing a 36 foot toyhauler to go duning in Oregon. I was sure my vacation was over.I called Jeff in Service on Saturday morning and he said "bring it in, we'll look at it right away". Jeff has to be the most professional service writer I have dealt with. He jumped on it right away. Ryan, a brillian diesel tech, ran through the codes and identified two injector failures and suspect EGR. He was extremely professional and knowledgable. I arrived at 10:30 AM and was back on the road by 4:30 PM. Everything was fixed! This is a great dealership and if I lived in the area they would be my service outlet. Thanks Corning Ford for getting me back on the road.

Corning Saved Our Lives!
After a week on Lake Shasta we were scorched! So driving home in the air conditioned comfort of our 2008 Sahara Unlimited was sweet until [swoooosh] I watch in what seems like slow motion as the roof lifts off the vehicle at 60 miles per hour! Uhhh... did I forget to secure the front panels? Luckily no one was hurt and to my amazement the right side was fully recoverable. The left side however was in several pieces.I get on the horn and have the local dealership run an inventory search to find that the closest replacement panel in stock is in Pensacola, Florida. The guy on the phone has only one suggestion… try Corning Ford. We pull into Corning Ford sweating and red faced just happy to be out of the sun. The parts store confirmed what I already knew… they have no panels for me. My only hope is to appeal to the compassion of the owner, manager, or anyone with the authority to give us a panel from one of their new Jeeps. Reluctantly the parts manager led me to the back office where I was introduced to Brandon. I explained our situation to Brandon who, without hesitation said… “well we can’t have you folks dying out there in the heat… send a tech out there to take care of them”. What Corning did for us was truly remarkable. They pulled a panel from a brand new 2010 Jeep and fit it to my 2008 to make sure we did not have to drive home in the 102 degree heat. Moreover they discounted the part after I made it clear I would pay whatever they asked. I really can’t thank you guys enough. You saved our lives!
